Kano Pillars' top scorer, Gambo Mohammed has said he is not aware of his invitation to the Futsal Eagles' camp.
The lanky striker is among the 20 players named in coach Oladunni Oyekale's list for the Fifa Futsal World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Cairo on Friday, June 8.
Gambo was in the Nigerian team to the African Futsal Championship in Libya in 2008.
The players are expected in Lagos on Thursday to commence preparations for the qualifying match.
The winner of the two-legged final encounter will earn one of the three tickets reserved for Africa at the Fifa Futsal World Cup in Thailand in November.
Gambo who claimed ignorance of the invitation to the Futsal camp however told SuperSport.com that he will make the necessary contacts and possibly head to Lagos for the start of the camping.
"I don't know of any invitation, nobody has told me anything but I'll call the coach immediately to ascertain the call-up and possibly prepare to head to Lagos.
"I was in the 2008 team that played at the African championship in Libya and if he considered me worthy for another invitation I'll honour it and will as usual give my best.
"Egypt are good side but beatable, if we prepare very well we'll surely stop the Egyptians," he said
The Nigerian player, who is recovering from an attack of malaria fever, said he will not be part of his side's Matchday 30 tie at Lobi Stars in Katsina-Ala.
"No, I won't be available for the match at Lobi, I'm down with malaria fever and have not been training," he said.
Pillars are third on the log with 43 points from a possible 81 and three points adrift leaders, Enugu Rangers and Enyimba.
