One of the few continental (talking about Europe) leagues that will be completed is the Latvian Optibet Virsliga, that was back in action yesterday in the Elektrum Olimpiskais centrs based in Riga. FK Raba defeated Jekabpils Lusi/Osukalns 8-3 in the 3rd semifinal game and are then one win (game 4 scheduled for June 17th) far from their access to the league final.

After a balanced 2-1 at half time (Ederson and Rozkovskis), the second part of the game was in the FK Raba hands, on target with Ederson and Rozkovskis again, as well as with Kolesnikovs (2), 6 Arturs Kulesovs and Aleksandrs Kulesovs, while Jekabpils Lusi/Osukalns came through Putans, Tarasovs and Terens.

The national legue in Latvia was stopped on past March 11th, when the other semifinal pairing already registered a 2-1 advantage for regular season winners (and only club which showed to be against the competition restart) FC Petrow, in their fight FC Lokomotiv Daugavpils.

All play-off games are played behind closed doors and broadcasted live on Sportacentrs.com.
